Volume seems lower to me than my note 5... is it just me? Videos are loud but ringtone and games seem lower. Whatever thoughts/ suggestions?

Mine likewise, like the other 24-hour interval at work I forgot to close out the Pandora app after I arrived. It wasn't playing simply the app was active. I was on a phone Phone call with another associate in my piece of work expanse, and my Notation viii decided that was a slap-up fourth dimension to play Pandora and blast it loudly. Maroon 5'southward song "Common cold" started playing on my Note 8 via speaker. Dandy loud sound, only not at the right fourth dimension lol

Hahaha. Hope you didn't become in trouble😉 yeah music and video are fine. I take a couple games I play like songpop and yahtzee to kill time sometimes, they're lower for certain. And my ringtones. Used to hear them in the other room, now can barely hear it(if in the other room) maybe my hearing is going on me lol

Brand sure all of your volumn settings are turned up. Like Ringtone, Media, System, Notifications and Bixby Vox.

Yea volume is definitely lower. Especially on headphojes. So much so that I'd rather only utilise my iPhone for that purpose.. I've tried everything to brand it louder

I don't know if this will help, simply it's worth a try. In Settings > Sounds and Vibration > Book, bear upon the three dots in the upper right corner, and so touch Media Volume Limiter, then turn that on and slide the Custom volume limit all the way upward.

Here'southward something else to effort. Besides under Settings > Sounds and Vibration > Sound Quality and Effects, under Blaster select Custom, then slide ALL the sliders upward to maximum.

I merely posted virtually the earbuds/headset that came with my phone. They cut the volume in half compared to all the other earbuds I ain. They were obviously defective and Samsung is ship some new ones to me.

I was excited that the speaker finally got moved from the rear to the bottom, but somehow the sound quality/volume is worse than my Note 4.
I used the same exact audio file for my alarm as I used on my Annotation 4, but it'due south noticeably non as loud. I've been procrastinating on ownership a small, inexpensive BT speaker for my nightstand for similar 3 years now so this might finally give me the motivation I need.

My Note 4 too much louder. I still have my Note iv and the

Yeah I've noticed a huge deviation between my Note 5 and my Note 8. Not sure why difference but it'due south kind of abrasive

Do what I did and bank check the volume with some other set of headphones/earbuds. The sound without earbuds is loud on mine and I have a hearing disability. Earbuds make it easier for us deaf people and I'll use my onetime ones until the Samsung replacements come in.

It more to do about what your watching test have shown that the note 8 has better speakers then the notation v an s8 louder an clearer

There's no "seem" nearly it. The warning on my Notation 4 is most definitely louder. I tin can sit at my kitchen table and lay both phones on the table and watch the same video or heed to the same song and the Note 4 speaker is louder. I can play the aforementioned game on both phones and the game volume on the Note 4 is louder. Possibly I got a bum speaker. Who knows?
The speaker is the absolute least important characteristic on a phone anyway, at to the lowest degree for me and my needs, and so it actually isn't a big deal.

My volume was low while playing a game or watching media and when I tried to turn it upwards (using the volume buttons) "In-call volume" is the only control I become. I pulled the driblet down and all my volumes are at full. I also made sure the phone app wasn't open up in the background.
I have to restart the phone in order to "reset" that and give me control of media volume.
Has anyone else had this happen?
